Elvaston Castle 350th anniversary ride

Sunday 20th June from Bass' Recreation Ground to Elvaston Castle. The DCG will be running a bike park.

30th Birthday Party

To celebrate 30 years since the founding of the Derby Cycling Group, the Birthday Party has been set for Saturday, July 10th at The Clockworks, Queen St, all day including music, Dr Bike, city rides, maintenance workshops, bike art sessions.. More details nearer the time.

Recent Events

EcoFest - weekend of 19/20 September

The DCG ran a stall at the EcoFest in Markeaton Park as well as running the bike park for visitors to the festival. The DCG stand offered free badge making and had a steady stream of visitors over the two day event.

Derby Fireworks Concert - Sunday 6th September

The DCG ran a successful Bike Park at the annual concert and fireworks in Darley Park.

Big Bike Weekend

The DCG had a stall at the Bike Big Weekend event in Markeaton Park in July 2009 and met with a lot of existing and prospective members of the Group. The Group also supported the "5 Parks Ride" by providing marshalls.
