Derby Cycling GroupThe Derby Cycling Group works to promote cycling as an enjoyable, healthy, economical and environmentally friendly form of transport. Since its formation in 1979, it has campaigned to improve the conditions for cyclists in Derby and increase the role of cycling in the city's transportation system. It is a completely voluntary organisation which relies entirely on members' efforts for its success. Meetings are held every month throughout the year and all members are invited to attend. Next meeting: 19:30 Tuesday 05 June at The Brunswick Inn, Railway Terrace, Derby DE1 2RU (map) The last published minutes are here (September 2011) The DCG also has a Facebook Group - see this link for more details. After fighting a battle with spammers on the discussion forums, I am admitting defeat. The Forums will remain in place for reference but have been locked so no new people can register and no-one can post topics or replies. I am working on a replacement blog like facility that should be more attractive to use - more details as soon as I have it set up properly. Any problems then please email Webmaster. Thanks to the sponsors below for their support of the DCG:
